KeySafe Help: 911

The 911 feature is intended to be used only in an emergency situation, hence the name '911'. If enabled by you, the 911 feature provides a way for the wearer to open a KeySafe in an emergency, even if the Internet is down or you have not granted a permission.

For this feature to work, it must be enabled by you and the KeySafe must have a working and configured keypad. The wearer would then enter the numbers '911' into the KeySafe's keypad followed by the letter 'A'. The safe will open immediately, and the time and date when this was done will be recorded in the history log so that you can see that it was used.

Generally, this feature should be turned on, so it can be used in an emergency. Whenever it is used, the wearer should be expected to provide a good explanation of why it was used.
